About Food Safety Centre
Food Safety Centre was created in recognition of increasing need. Food business operators need a single point of support for policy, training and record keeping. Having to do these separately can be expensive, time consuming and difficult to maintain or prove.
This website was created to provide the solution, everything in one place for one affordable price.
The concept has further evolved into a subscription format so that food business operators can maintain a complete documented food safety management system, including training, over the life of the business.
Training can be delivered, recorded and checked. A bespoke food safety policy can be written, updated and printed. Compliance checks performed daily can be maintained over time, indefinitely.
An auditor-approved HACCP plan, built in under 30 minutes
Skip the expensive consultants. Answer a few quick questions and get your own Food Safety Management System instantly.
Build Your HACCP Plan Now
Building a HACCP plan used to take weeks — or cost thousands
It's legally required, but the usual options are painful:
- Expensive consultants: Thousands upfront, plus fees for every small update.
- Generic templates: Copy-pasted plans rarely match your kitchen.
- Outdated fast: Change a menu item and your paper binder's obsolete.
A smarter way to build and maintain your plan
- Guided builder: Plain-English questions about your menu, prep, equipment and storage.
- Automated hazard detection: We identify your hazards, controls and corrective actions.
- Export instantly: Download a polished PDF, or show it live on screen for inspectors.
How it works
- 1. Answer the questionnaire: What you prepare, and how you store and cook it.
- 2. Instant generation: Your full HACCP plan, in the Safer Food Better Business style.
- 3. Linked to daily logs: Lives alongside your compliance checks and training records.
Ready before your next inspection
Save thousands in consultant fees — generate yours today.
Generate my food safety management policyTrain every staff member. Zero extra fees. Fully compliant.
Upskill your kitchen and front-of-house teams with short, interactive food safety courses. Certifications tracked automatically — never worry about uncertified staff on shift again.
Traditional staff training is expensive, slow and hard to track
High turnover in hospitality makes staying certified a constant headache:
- Per-seat fees add up: £30–£50 per person for Level 2, and over £300 per person for three days of face-to-face Level 3 — it destroys your margins.
- Slow onboarding: Weeks waiting for off-site training leaves your kitchen vulnerable during audits.
- Lost certificates: Missing paperwork during an inspection could jeopardise your hygiene rating.
Streamlined training, built for high-turnover teams
- Truly unlimited onboarding: One flat fee. Train 5 or 50 staff — the price never changes.
- Bite-sized mobile learning: Short modules on their own phone or a kitchen tablet, covering Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Allergens Awareness.
- Automated certificate tracking: Certificates generate instantly and attach straight to the employee's profile.
- Automatic expiry reminders: Notified 30 days before a certification is due for renewal.
How it works
- 1. Add your team: Send an invite link straight from your manager dashboard.
- 2. Staff learn on the go: Short interactive video modules and quick quizzes.
- 3. Stay audit-ready: Certificates auto-file into your digital compliance folder.

The all-in-one digital compliance app for commercial kitchens. Log fridge temperatures, HACCP checks and cleaning schedules in seconds, from your phone or tablet.
Is paper hygiene tracking costing you time and money?
Managing kitchen hygiene on clipboards is a recipe for disaster:
- Missing logbooks: Paper sheets get lost, damaged or forgotten during the rush.
- Audit anxiety: Scrambling for six months of temperature logs when the inspector arrives unannounced.
- Wasted hours: Managers chasing staff to check the sheets actually got filled in.
- Human error: Penciled-in numbers put your rating and reputation at risk.
Everything you need to run a clean, compliant kitchen
- 2-tap temperature logging: Fridges, freezers and hot-holding in seconds, with alerts before stock hits the danger zone.
- Digital HACCP checklists: Pre-loaded opening, operational and closing checks — fully customisable.
- Automated manager alerts: Push notifications for missed checks at every shift change.
- 1-click audit reports: Hand inspectors a timestamped digital report, or export a PDF instantly.
- Allergen & expiry tracking: Deliveries, expiry dates and allergen records, logged automatically.
Trusted by kitchens who used to dread inspections
"We saved 5+ hours a week per site on admin alone. Before switching, our shift managers spent half an hour every night chasing temp logs and cleaning sheets. Now everything's logged in real time — our last inspection was our easiest yet."
— Chef Marcus T., Executive Chef & Owner, 3-location group
How it works
- 1. Set up in 10 minutes: Choose a pre-built HACCP template.
- 2. Invite your team: Staff log in from their phone or a shared device.
- 3. Stay audit-ready: Monitor compliance from anywhere, any time.
